Terry Bell is one of the founding partners of Galapagos Marketing. His focus is business intelligence and market research, with an emphasis on helping clients better quantify and prioritize the growth opportunities that exist within their customer base and market.
His career quantitative marketing began with a Midwest based consulting group with a sole focus of helping community and regional FIs develop better strategies based on customer and market insights. From there, he joined Crowe Horwath as a founding member of a new Financial Institutions sales and marketing practice, helping to grow the group from eight to 60 people in three years. He became the lead business intelligence consultant within the practice.
Terry’s entire career has been consulting in the Financial Services industry. He has worked with national, regional, community, de novo, and online-only institutions, preferring most to work with leadership teams of community-focused institutions.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, MI. Throughout his career Terry has earned additional certificates and degrees from ESRI, SAS, Angoss, and the Financial Services Database Marketing School at Northwestern University.
Terry enjoys all sports and spends much of his free time on the tennis courts passing down his enjoyment of the game to his three children.
